In connection with her request for a reconsideration of a waiver of the $1,400 late fee assessed for the late filing of a 30-P campaign finance report, Lori M. Berteau, on behalf of LA Propane Gas Association PAC maintains that upon her return from maternity leave, she received notice from the Campaign Finance division regarding the committee's requirement to file a 30-P campaign finance disclosure report. She maintains that there was no activity in their PAC account during the reporting period and during a normal filing a year, a report would not have been due until contributions had been made. Ms. Berteau states that their PAC is very small, and the late fee would have a very significant impact on their PAC's account funds.
