Request that the Board waive the $360 campaign finance late fee assessed against Brett K. Duncan, a candidate for Tangipahoa School Board, District E in the October 2, 2010 election, whose Supplemental campaign finance disclosure report was filed 9 days late. |
|
In connection with his request for a waiver of the $360 late fee assessed for the late filings of a Supplemental campaign finance report, Brett K. Duncan, states that the October 2, 2010 election was his first and only run for elected office. He further states that his campaign had no debt during the applicable reporting period and had no activity, except for a previously reported balance of less than $150. Mr. Duncan maintains that he thought that his 10-G campaign report for the October 2, 2010 election was his final report. It was not until he received notice from the Campaign Finance division that he was informed of his requirement to file a Supplemental report, and a report was immediately filed. Mr. Duncan is an any other level candidate. He was a successful candidate.
