Request that the Board waive the $250 and $1,500 late fee assessed against Wanda Freedman for failure to timely file two 2012 Lobbyist Supplemental Registrations. |
|
Ms. Freedman filed her Supplemental Registration reports that were due by March 6, 2012, thirty days late on April 5, 2012. She also filed supplemental reports due on April 6, 2012, five days late on April 11, 2012. She was assessed late fees of $1,500 and $250.
Ms. Freedman states that the start dates were incorrectly entered by a new employee. The employee entered the start date on a monthly basis, rather than the actual date of the start of the representation, causing the late fee to be assessed.
The employee has now been trained on how to fill the forms out in the future.
