Cleveland Coon is a member of the Public Defender Board. Mr. Coon states that personal family matters consumed his attention. The report was initially due on May 15, 2011. Mr. Coon states that in early January 2011, his 14 year old nephew (who he has raised as his own son since he was 4 years old due to the death of his parents) began getting into trouble with the police. In June 2011/July 2011, Mr. Coon was again visited by the police due to problems with his nephew. He then entered counseling with his nephew/son three times a week for several months. During this time, he states that his focus has been on the emotional needs of his nephew/son.
