RE:
Request that the Board waive the $500 campaign finance late fee assessed against Louisiana Home Builders Association PAC, a political action committee, whose 10-G campaign finance report was filed 411 days late.
Facts:
In connection with her request for a waiver of the $500 late fee assessed for the late filing of a 10-G report, Jeannie A. Dodd, on behalf of the committee states that the committee issued a campaign contribution check to Rep. Hunter Greene on March 12, 2010 for $500. The check was considered a contribution to Rep. Greene's war chest for his District 66 seat in the October 22, 2011 election. Ms. Dodd maintains that as per the guidelines of the LHBA PAC, they do not contribute to Parish Family Court races and did not have any intention of the contribution to be used for Rep. Hunter's campaign for Judge, EBR Family Court in the April 2, 2011 election.
