Request that the Board waive the $480 and $600 campaign finance late fees assessed against Justin Codey Ingram, a candidate for Coroner of Catahoula Parish, in the October 22, 2011 election, whose EDE-P and 10-G campaign finance disclosure reports were filed 8 and 57 days late. |

In connection with his request for a waiver of the $480 and $600 late fees assessed for the late filings of an EDE-P and 10-G campaign finance reports, Justin Cody Ingram, states that he is unable to pay the late fees. He further states that he is currently unemployed, and he lost his home in a fire in 2011. Mr. Ingram maintains that his expenses for his campaign were less than $400. Mr. Ingram is a district level candidate. This is his first campaign. He was an unsuccessful candidate. In addition, La. R.S. 42:1157 provides that the late filer may apply to the Board for a waiver of these late fees within thirty days after the mailing of the late fee assessment.
Cody "Krueger" Ingram was assessed late fees of $480 and $600 on January 17, 2012 and February 1, 2012 (see attached documentation). A request for a good cause waiver must have been submitted by March 1, 2012 and February 17, 2012. Mr. Ingram's waiver request was submitted on September 18, 2012. Mr. Ingram's request for a waiver of the $480 and $600 late fees is untimely.
