Wayne Thompson states in an effort to comply with the bid regulations, the Fire District bids out the broker or sale representative services annually, which significantly complicates the process of annual renewal of healthcare benefits for the employees. It is the Fire District's desire to utilize the same broker annually and allow that person to source the Fire District's health insurance options on an annual basis. The Fire District would like a written option as to whether this change would violate any bid regulations.
