In connection with her request for a waiver of the $2,000 late fee assessed for the late filing of a 10-G campaign finance report, Amy Desoto, on behalf of the committee, states that in 2010 the committee filed reports once a year, unaware that it was in noncompliance. It was not until after an investigation for failure to file the 10-G report, that she was made aware that the committee was required to report activity for the March 27, 2010 election. Ms. Desoto maintains that mistakes have been brought to their attention and corrected for future reports, and ask that the late fee be waived.
