Mr. Hunt filed his lobbyist expenditure report that was due by September 25, 2012, eighteen days late on October 13, 2012. He was assessed a late fee of $500. Mr. Hunt states although he has had previous late filings, he has always responded quickly upon being reminded by our office of his late filings. He states that he missed the deadline for the August 2012 Lobbyist Expenditure Report due to being in a medical facility from September 25, 2012 through October 12, 2012 and did not have access to e-mail or other communication.
