Advisory opinion regarding whether the spouse of Ms. Debora Alexander, a St. Gabriel City Council member, may be hired as a city park ranger with the City of St. Gabriel. |

Mr. Bush, as counsel for the City of St. Gabriel seeks an advisory opinion at the request of Mayor Lionel Johnson. The city anticipates creating the position of city park ranger to perform a number tasks required of park attendants. The city council will not vote with regard to hiring, firing or salary for the park ranger position.
