Mr. Hyde filed his lobbyist expenditure report that was due by November 26, 2012, one day late on November 27, 2012. He was assessed a late fee of $50. Mr. Patel states that the administrative assistant that files the reports was on vacation from November 15, 2012 through November 16, 2012. He states that this is the time she usually files his expenditure reports. He states that she then missed the deadline due to the Thanksgiving holidays. He states that this is the first time that the deadline has been missed and there were no reportable expenditures.
