Request that the Board waive the $400 late fee assessed against Shelly Neff for failure to timely file a lobbyist expenditure report.

Ms. Neff filed her lobbyist expenditure report that was due by November 26, 2012, eight days late on December 4, 2012. She was assessed a late fee of $400. Ms. Neff states that she apologizes for missing the deadline and she did not mean to be deceitful in any way. She states that she is required to register with the Louisiana Board of Ethics by her pharmaceutical company and does not have any expenditures since her registration began. She asks that in light of this, please have leniency on her late fee of $400. She is willing to pay a $50 late fee, but she really feels that $400 is beyond feasible for her to pay, especially with the holidays.
