In connection with his request for a waiver of the $1,400 late fee assessed for the late filing of a 30-P campaign finance report, Gerald A. Cvitanovich, states that he is a first time candidate who did not fully understand the rules and requirements for filing the 30-P report. He states that he was not advised about the filing requirements until it was too late. He has since taken the steps to ensure that this does not happen again. He has requested the assistance of a CPA firm to keep track of his filing requirements in the future. Mr. Cvitanovich is a major level candidate. He was a successful candidate.
