In connection with her request for a waiver of the $800 late fee assessed for the late filing of a Monthly campaign finance report, Kelly Blache, on behalf of the committee, states that the report was untimely filed because their treasurer, Belinda Antoine, was unable to review and and sign the committee's Monthly report due to a conflict in scheduling. Ms. Antoine was out of town and there was some difficulty acquiring her signature. Ms. Blache maintains that the report was also late due to the Mardi Gras Holiday, which included road closures, there was an inconvenience with accessing the post office. Ms. Blache states that the committee regrets any burden or difficulty that their failure to comply with the deadlines may have caused and hope that the Board will consider their request and grant a waiver or reduction of the late fee.
