Advisory opinion request regarding whether board meetings of the Terrebonne Parish Fire District #10 and the DuLarge Volunteer Fire Department may be transmitted electronically to a member of its Board of Commissioners by computer to his work location.
Facts:
A member of the Board of Commissioners for the Terrebonne Parish Fire District #10 and the DuLarge Volunteer Fire Department is employed by an offshore company and, due to his work schedule, is not able to attend all of the meetings of the board. He has requested that board meetings be electronically transmitted to him by computer to his work location.
Recommendations:
Decline to render an advisory opinion.
