Advisory opinion request from Mr. Mason Harrison, an employee of a New Orleans City Councilmember, regarding his potential service on the Executive Board for the Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (GLCC) of the Gulf South. |

Mr. Harrison is an employee of New Orleans City Councilmember, LaToya Cantrell. Mr. Harrison was invited to serve on the GLCC Gulf South. It is conceivable that the organization may have a business or tengential interest before the city council at some point in the future. Based upon this concern, Mr. Harrison posed a number of questions to the Board regarding how the Code of Ethics would affect him and Councilmember Cantrell.

After a follow-up correspondence with Mr. Harrison, he would like to request that Board allow for the withdrawal of his advisory opinion request since he no longer needs the opinion.
