RE:
Waiver request submitted by Douglas Day, candidate for Senate District 38 in the October 22, 2011 election, regarding a $2,500 late fee assessed for filing his 2010 Tier 2 candidate pfd 385 days late.
Facts:
Mr. Day was a candidate for the Senate race in 2011. After qualifying, he quickly realized the political life was not for him and withdrew from the race. Having withdrawn, Mr. Day believed he was relieved of any obligation to file a pfd with the Board. He has since filed all campaign finance reports and paid a reduced fine and respectfully requests relief in this matter.
