r <br /> t <br /> innovation through promotion of online learning opportunities, development of web enhanced <br /> curriculum, and support for training programs. <br /> 4. <br /> On September 17, 2020, Mr. Savoie sent an email to Dr. Bruce Waguespack, Vice <br /> Chancellor of Workforce Development with RPCC and informed Mr. Waguespack that he was <br /> resigning from his position as Director of workforce Solutions, effective September 20, 2020. <br /> 5. <br /> Mr. Savoie terminated his employment with RPCC on September 20, 2020. <br /> 6. <br /> On November 9, 2020, Mr. Savoie entered into a contract ("the contract") with RPCC to <br /> with a term of November 10, 2020 through June 30, 202 1., to provide professional services to <br /> RPCC. The contract provided that those professional services were to include, but were not <br /> limited to, the following: 1) review and recommend revisions and improvements to training <br /> content; 2) other training related services requiring the experience, expertise and talent of the <br /> contractor; and 3)the contractor must comply with all RPCCILCTCS policies and standards. <br /> 7. <br /> According to the terms of the contract, Bruce G. Waguespack, Vice Chancellor for <br /> Workforce Development, would monitor Mr. Savoie's performance. The contract also provided <br /> that invoices were to be sent by Mr. Savoie to RPCC and addressed to Dr. Waguespack, within <br /> 10 business days after services were rendered. <br /> Page 3 of 8 <br />
