In prior Docket Nos. 2009-1084 and 2012-187, the Board concluded that Angie Curry <br /> would not be prohibited from being hired by the Winnfield Police Department, since her <br /> husband, Charles Curry, is not an agency head over the Winnfield Police Department. <br /> CONCLUSION <br /> The Board concluded, and instructed me to inform you, that Angie Curry would not be <br /> prohibited by Section 1119 from being employed by the Winnfield Police Department as a <br /> full-time police communications officer,since her husband,Charles Curry,is not an agency <br /> head over the Winnfield Police Department. <br /> The Board further concluded, and instructed me to inform you, that Charles Curry would <br /> be prohibited from participating in any transaction in which Angie Curry has a substantial <br /> economic interest. <br /> This advisory opinion is based solely on the facts as set forth herein. Changes to the facts <br /> as presented may result in a different application of the provisions of the Code of <br /> Governmental Ethics. The Board issues no opinion as to past conduct or as to laws other <br /> than the Code of Governmental Ethics,the Campaign Finance Disclosure Act,the Lobbyist <br /> Disclosure Act, and conflict of interest provisions in the gaming laws.
