The first is the Blue Cross <br /> litigation, which is a class action where the OGHS is a named plaintiff and a class representative. <br /> The second is the Opioids product liability mass action lawsuit, where the OGHS is a named <br /> plaintiff. On June 2, 2020, Mr. Morrow and MMRB filed a Notice of Withdrawal as Counsel in <br /> the Opioids litigation. <br /> 9. <br /> There were five(5) other matters for which Mr. Morrow,PMPLC,and/or MMRB received <br /> compensation as a result of the legal services provided to OGHS. <br /> 10. <br /> On July 15, 2020, Mr. Morrow resigned form the OGHS Board. However, Mr. Morrow <br /> continued to provide legal services to the OGHS Board. Mr. Morrow made multiple court <br /> appearances on behalf of OGHS in the aforementioned Class Action litigation. <br /> PROVISIONS OF LAW <br /> 11. <br /> La. R.S. 42:1113(B) provides the following: <br /> Other than a legislator, no appointed member of any board or <br /> commission, member of his immediate family, or legal entity in <br /> which he has a substantial economic interest shall bid on or enter <br /> into or be in any way interested in any contract, subcontract, or other <br /> transaction which is under the supervision or jurisdiction of the <br /> agency of such appointed member. <br /> 12. <br /> La. R.S. 42:1121(A)(1) provides the following: <br /> No former agency head or elected official shall, for a period of two <br /> years following the termination of his public service as the head of <br /> such agency or as an elected public official serving in such agency, <br />
