LOUISIANA BOARD OF ETHICS <br /> CONSENT OPINION <br /> BD NO.2022-637 <br /> IN THE MATTER OF <br /> WILLIAM STACY YAWN <br /> CONSENT OPINION <br /> The Louisiana Board of Ethics(the`Board"),pursuant to the authority contained in La.R.S. <br /> 42:1141, conducted a confidential investigation concerning information that while William Stacy <br /> Yawn was serving as a member of the Livingston Parish Drainage District No. 5 Board of <br /> Commissioners, he participated in the promotion of George Truax, Sr., an employee of the <br /> Livingston Parish Gravity Drainage District and his father-in-law in derogation of La. R.S <br /> 42:1112B(1). <br /> On the basis of information obtained during the investigation, and with the concurrence of <br /> William Stacy Yawn,the Board now makes the following essential: <br /> I. <br /> PARTIES <br /> The Parties hereto are: <br /> William Stacy Yawn, a person of the full age of majority, domiciled in the Parish <br /> of Livingston with a last known address of 13175 White Holden Road,Walker,LA <br /> 70785-5511; and, <br /> The Louisiana Board of Ethics,a Louisiana State agency domiciled in East Baton <br /> Rouge Parish whose mailing address is P.O. Box 4368, Baton Rouge, Louisiana <br /> 70821. <br />
