ETHICS 130ARD RECD <br /> SEP,9'23 AM10:29 <br /> 4. <br /> Charles Wise was issued the following W-2 tax documents evidencing compensation he <br /> received from the Washington Parish Fire Protection District 47: <br /> 2018 $3,975.00 <br /> 2019 $2,360.00 <br /> 2020 $5,610.00 <br /> 5. <br /> On December 17, 2017, the Washington Parish Fire Protection District #7's Board of' <br /> Commissioners voted to enter into an agreement with Charles Wise d/b/a Elegant Landscaping to <br /> provide lawn care and maintenance services. <br /> 6. <br /> Between May 7, 2019 through November 10, 2020, Charles Wise d/b/a Elegant <br /> Landscaping submitted invoices and received payments totaling $6,225.00 for lawn care and <br /> landscaping services provided to Washington Parish Fire Protection District#7 <br /> 7. <br /> If called to testify, Charles Wise would state that the Fire Chief at the time, Richard <br /> Breedlove, and Sidney Warner, a commission member, advised him they spoke with the local <br /> District Attorney at the time,Richard Watts,who advised them it would not be problematic if Mr. <br /> Wise d/b/a Elegant Landscaping entered into an agreement with the Washington Parish Fire <br /> Protection District 47 to provide lawn care and landscaping services. <br /> Page 3 of 9 <br />
