R.S. <br /> 42:1141C(3)(f) of the Ethics Code. <br /> M. <br /> FINDINGS OF FACT: <br /> 1. <br /> Donald Cravins Insurance Agency, Incorporated ("DCIA") is a Louisiana corporation, <br /> incorporated on October 18, 1982. DCIA is owned by Donald Cravins and his wife, Patricia <br /> Cravins. <br /> 2. <br /> On February 1, 2020, Charles Cravins was appointed and commissioned as District <br /> Attorney of the 27'Judicial District upon the resignation of Earl Taylor,who had previously been <br /> elected as District Attorney of the 270'Judicial District. <br /> 3. <br /> Charles Cravins is an "elected official" as defined by La. R.S. 42:1102(9) and a "public <br /> servant" as defined by La. R.S. 42:1102(19). The Office of the District Attorney for the 27th <br /> Judicial District (the "District Attorney's Office") is the "agency"of Charles Cravins, as defined <br /> by La. R.S. 42:1102(2)(a)(vi). Charles Cravins served as the District Attorney of the 27th Judicial <br /> District from February 1, 2020, until his term expired on January 10, 2021. <br /> 4. <br /> Donald Cravins is the brother of Charles Cravins. As such, Donald Cravins is an <br /> "immediate family member"of Charles Cravins, as defined by La. R.S. 42:1102(13). <br />
