R.S. 42:1101, et. seq., and <br /> particularly La. R.S. 42:ll41, conducted a confidential investigation concerning information that <br /> Baja Enterprises of Lockport LLC may have violated Section 1113A(1)(a) of the Ethics Code by <br /> virtue of entering into transactions under the supervision or jurisdiction of the Lockport Volunteer <br /> Fire Department while Armand Autin, Jr. serves as Fire Chief of the Lockport Volunteer Fire <br /> Department and has a controlling interest in Baja Enterprises of Lockport LLC. <br /> On the basis of information obtained during the investigation, and with the concurrence of <br /> Baja Enterprises of Lockport LLC,the BOE and Baja Enterprises of Lockport LLC enter into this <br /> Consent Opinion as follows: <br /> I. <br /> PARTIES: <br /> The Parties hereto are: <br /> Baja Enterprises of Lockport LLC, a Louisiana limited liability company, with <br /> a registered address of 7807 Highway 308, Lockport, Louisiana, 70374; and <br /> The Louisiana Board of Ethics, an agency of the State of Louisiana, with a <br /> mailing address of P.O. Box 4368, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70821. <br />
