LOUISIANA BOARD OF ETHICS <br /> CONSENT OPINION <br /> BD NO: 2022-091 <br /> RE: IN THE MATTER OF PAULA RUSH <br /> The Louisiana Board of Ethics (the "BOE"), pursuant to the authority contained in the <br /> Louisiana Code of Governmental Ethics (the "Ethics Code"), La. R.S. 42:1101, et. seq., and <br /> particularly Section 1141 of the Ethics Code, conducted a confidential investigation concerning <br /> information that Paula Rush, in her capacity as the Executive Director.of the Housing Authority <br /> of New Roads ("HANR"), may have violated Section 1111A of the Ethics Code by virtue of <br /> receiving compensation for overtime and unused vacation time to which she was not duly entitled <br /> to receive for the performance of her job duties. <br /> On the basis of information obtained during the investigation, and with the concurrence of <br /> Paula Rush,the BOE and Paula Rush enter into this Consent Opinion as follows: <br /> I. <br /> PARTIES: <br /> The Parties hereto are: <br /> Paula Rush, a person of the full age of majority, domiciled in the Parish of <br /> Pointe Coupee, Louisiana with a last known address of 315 Benjamin Street <br /> New Roads, Louisiana 70760; and <br /> The Louisiana Board of Ethics, a Louisiana State agency domiciled in <br /> East Baton Rouge Parish whose mailing address is P.O. Box 4368, Baton <br /> Rouge, Louisiana 70821. <br />
