R.S. 42:1101, et. seq., and <br /> particularly Section 1141, conducted a confidential investigation concerning information that <br /> Allegiance Ag and Turf, LLC may have violated Section 1117 of the Ethics Code by virtue of <br /> paying Bastrop-Morehouse Publishers Inc., a legal entity in which City of Bastrop Alderman <br /> Charles Henry Bradford exercises control, a thing of economic value that it was prohibited from <br /> receiving by Section 1 ll 1C(2)(d) of the Ethics Code because Allegiance Ag and Turf, LLC had a <br /> contractual, other business, or financial relationship with the City of Bastrop. <br /> On the basis of information obtained during the investigation, and with the concurrence of <br /> Allegiance Ag and Turf, LLC, the BOE and Allegiance Ag and Turf, LLC enter into this Consent <br /> Opinion as follows: <br /> I. <br /> PARTIES: <br /> The Parties hereto are: <br /> Allegiance Ag and Turf,LLC, a domestic limited liability company, domiciled in <br /> West Monroe,Louisiana,with a registered mailing address of 215 Teal Loop, West <br /> Monroe, Louisiana 71291; and <br /> The Louisiana Board of Ethics, an agency of the State of Louisiana, whose <br /> mailing address is P.O. Box 4368, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70821. <br />
