LOUISIANA BOARD OF ETHICS <br /> CONSENT OPINION <br /> BD NO: 2022-026 <br /> RE: IN THE MATTER OF DR. LARRY HOLLIER <br /> The Louisiana Board of Ethics (the `BOE"), pursuant to the authority contained in the <br /> Louisiana Code of Governmental Ethics (the "Ethics Code"), La. R.S. 42:1101, et. seq., and <br /> particularly Section 1141 of the Ethics Code, conducted a confidential investigation concerning <br /> information that Dr. Larry Hollier, in his capacity as Chancellor for Louisiana State University <br /> Health Sciences Center New Orleans,may have violated La. R.S.42:1117 by virtue of his offering <br /> and paying of supplemental compensation payments to Keith Schroth from November l, 2020 to <br /> November 1, 2021, which Keith Schroth was not duly entitled to receive as Vice Chancellor for <br /> Administration and Finance. <br /> On the basis of information obtained during the investigation, the BOE and Dr. Larry <br /> Hollier enter into this Consent Opinion as follows: <br /> I. PARTIES <br /> The Parties hereto are: <br /> Dr. Larry Hollier, a person of the full age of majority, domiciled in the <br /> Parish of Orleans with a last known address of 884 Crystal Street, New <br /> Orleans, Louisiana, 70124. <br /> and <br /> The Louisiana Board of Ethics, a Louisiana State agency domiciled in <br /> East Baton Rouge Parish whose mailing address is P.O. Box 4368, Baton <br /> Rouge, Louisiana 70821. <br />
