LOUISIANA BOARD OF ETHICS <br /> CONSENT OPINION <br /> DATE: BD NO: 2021-701 <br /> RE: IN THE MATTER OF DARRYL AND TAMEKA FORD <br /> The Louisiana Board of Ethics (the "BOE"), pursuant to the authority contained in the <br /> Louisiana Code of Governmental Ethics (the "Ethics Code"), La. R.S. 42:1101, et. seq., and <br /> particularly Section 1141 of the Ethics Code, conducted a confidential investigation concerning <br /> information that a) Darryl Ford, in his capacity as Alderman, Town of Cullen, Webster Parish, <br /> may have violated Section 1119B of the Ethics Code by virtue of the employment of his wife, <br /> Tameka Ford, as Town Clerk for the Town of Cullen, and b)that Tameka Ford may have violated <br /> Section 1119B of the Ethics Code by virtue of her employment with the Town of Cullen while her <br /> husband, Darryl Ford, served on the Board of Aldermen for the Town of Cullen. <br /> On the basis of information obtained during the investigation, and with the concurrence of <br /> Darryl and Tameka Ford,the BOE, Darryl Ford and Tameka Ford enter into this Consent Opinion <br /> as follows: <br /> I. <br /> PARTIES: <br /> The Parties hereto are: <br /> Darryl Ford, a person of the full age of majority, domiciled in the Parish <br /> of Webster with the last known address of 114 Plymouth Street, Louisiana <br /> 71021; <br /> Tameka Ford, a person of the full age of majority, domiciled in the Parish <br /> of Webster with the last known address of 114 Plymouth Street, Louisiana <br /> 71021 and <br />
