ETHICS 130ARD REC'8 <br /> SER 8'23 AM10:28 <br /> LOUISIANA BOARD OF ETHICS <br /> CONSENT OPINION <br /> DOCKET NO. 2022-563 <br /> IN THE MATTER OF <br /> CHARLES WISE AND CHARLES WISE D/B/A ELEGANT LANDSCAPING <br /> CONSENT OPINION <br /> The Louisiana Board of Ethics (hereinafter referred to as the 'BOE") pursuant to the <br /> authority contained in La. R.S. 42:1141, conducted a confidential investigation concerning <br /> information that Charles Wise and Charles Wise d/b/a Elegant Landscaping, while employed with <br /> the Washington Parish Fire Protection District#7, entered into contracts and/or transactions with <br /> the Washington Parish Fire Protection District 47 to provide lawn care services and received at <br /> least $6,225.00 from the Washington Parish Fire Protection District#7 for payment of these lawn <br /> care services in derogation of La. R.S. 42:1113A. <br /> On the basis of information obtained during the investigation,and with the concurrence of <br /> Charles Wise and Charles Wise d/b/a Elegant Landscaping,the BOE and Charles Wise and Charles <br /> Wise d/b/a Elegant Landscaping enter into this Consent Opinion as follows: <br /> I. <br /> PARTIES: <br /> The Parties hereto are: <br /> Charles Wise and Charles Wise d/b/a Elegant Landscaping, a person of the full age of <br /> majority, domiciled in the Parish of Washington with a last known address of 10903 <br /> Timber Ridge Road, Bogalusa, Louisiana 70427-0831; and, <br /> The Louisiana Board of Ethics,a Louisiana State agency domiciled in East Baton Rouge <br /> Parish whose mailing address is P.O.
