LOUISIANA BOARD OF ETHICS <br /> CONSENT OPINION <br /> RE: IN THE MATTER OF BD NO: 2022-454 <br /> REBECCA STEPHENSON <br /> The Board of Ethics (the "BOE"), pursuant to the authority contained in the Louisiana <br /> Code of Governmental Ethics (hereinafter referred to as the "Ethics Code"), La. R.S. 42:1101, et. <br /> seq., and particularly Section 1141 of the Ethics Code, conducted a confidential investigation <br /> concerning information that Rebecca Stephenson, while serving as the Director of Accountability <br /> and Technology Services for the Pointe Coupee Parish School Board, violated La. R.S. <br /> 42:1111 C(2)(d) when she performed contractual consulting work, and receiving monetary <br /> compensation for such work, from Teaching Lab, a vendor of the Pointe Coupee Parish School <br /> Board. On the basis of information obtained during the investigation, and with the concurrence <br /> of Rebecca Stephenson, the BOE and Rebecca Stephenson enter into this Consent Opinion as <br /> follows: <br /> I. <br /> PARTIES: <br /> The Parties hereto are: <br /> Rebecca Stephenson, a person of the full age of majority, domiciled in the Parish <br /> of East Baton Rouge, with a last known address of 3975 Memorial Sq., Zachary, <br /> Louisiana 70791. <br /> The Louisiana Board of Ethics, an agency of the State of Louisiana, whose <br /> mailing address is P.O. Box 4368, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, 70821. <br />
