Ethics Board Docket No. 2022-454 <br /> Page 4 of 8 <br /> 8. <br /> On or around September 2022, the School Board entered into an agreement with <br /> Teaching Lab to provide training, unpacking, and coaching for early literacy. It was signed by <br /> Brandi Forbes, School Board supervisor of literacy and assessment, Kim Canezaro, and Sarah <br /> Johnson, Teaching Lab's CEO. <br /> 9. <br /> The School Board issued payments to Teaching Lab totaling $250,712.50 from February <br /> 11, 2019, until June 29, 2022. <br /> 10. <br /> Ms. Stephenson entered into independent contractor agreements with Teaching Lab in <br /> 2019 to facilitate its professional learning model to its clients. She was paid $80 per hour for in- <br /> person facilitation and $70 per hour for virtual work and was reimbursed for expenses related to <br /> food, lodging, and travel under each contract. <br /> 11. <br /> Ms. Stephenson received a direct deposit on February 28, 2020, for a compensation of <br /> $12,242.50 and reimbursements of$48.19, for a total payment of$12,290.69. <br />
