LOUISIANA BOARD OF ETHICS <br /> CONSENT OPINION <br /> BD NO: 2022-724 <br /> RE: IN THE MATTER OF DUPRE-CARRIER-GODCHAUX AGENCY, INC. <br /> The Louisiana Board of Ethics (the "BOE"), pursuant to the authority contained in the <br /> Louisiana Code of Governmental Ethics (the "Ethics Code"), La. R.S. 42:1101, et. seq., and <br /> particularly Section 1141 of the Ethics Code, conducted a confidential investigation concerning <br /> information that Dupre-Carrier-Godchaux Agency, Inc., a Louisiana corporation ("DCG"), may <br /> have violated Section 1113A of the Ethics Code by virtue of entering into a transaction with the <br /> St. Landry Parish Sheriff s Office while an immediate family member of St. Landry Parish Sheriff <br /> Bobby Guidroz had a controlling interest in DCG. <br /> On the basis of information obtained during the investigation, and with the concurrence of <br /> DCG, the BOE and DCG enter into this Consent Opinion as follows: <br /> I. <br /> PARTIES: <br /> The Parties hereto are: <br /> Dupre-Carrier-Godchaux Agency, Inc., a Louisiana corporation, <br /> domiciled in the Parish of St. Landry with the last known address of 4670 <br /> 1-49 North Service Road, Opelousas, Louisiana 70570; and <br /> The Louisiana Board of Ethics, a Louisiana State agency domiciled in <br /> East Baton Rouge Parish whose mailing address is P.O. Box 4368, Baton <br /> Rouge, Louisiana 70821. <br />
