R.S. 42:1111C(2)(d) by receiving a thing of economic value for assisting Lafourche Arc with its grant application to the Lafourche Parish Tourist Commission and for rendering services to Lafourche Arc while it had a contractual, business, or financial relationship with her agency, the Lafourche Parish Tourist Commission.

PARTIES <br /> 1. <br /> The Parties hereto are: <br /> Amy Hebert, a person of the full age of majority, domiciled in the Parish of <br /> Lafourche with a last known address of 107 Creole Lane, Thibodaux, Louisiana, <br /> 70301; <br /> Amplify-Events and Promotions, LLC, a Louisiana limited liability company <br /> authorized to do and doing business in the state of Louisiana, domiciled in the <br /> Parish of Lafourche with a last known address of 107 Creole Lane, Thibodaux, <br /> Louisiana, 70301; and, <br /> The Louisiana Board of Ethics,a Louisiana State agency domiciled in East Baton <br /> Rouge Parish. <br /> II. JURISDICTION <br /> 2. <br /> The BOE is an agency of the State of Louisiana domiciled in East Baton Rouge Parish, <br /> Louisiana. <br /> 3. <br /> The BOE is authorized to offer and enter into a Consent Opinion by virtue of La. R.S. <br /> 42:1141 C(3)(�. <br /> III. FINDINGS OF FACT <br /> 4. <br /> La.R.S. 33:4574B(17)created the Lafourche Parish Tourist Commission as"a body politic <br /> and corporate and a political subdivision of the state of Louisiana..." The Lafourche Parish Code <br /> of Ordinances, Article XVII, Sec. 34-422, established the Lafourche Tourist Commission and <br /> empowered it to"do all things necessary for the promotion and advertisement and publications of <br /> information relating to tourist attractions" in Lafourche Parish.
