R.S. 42:1102(18)and(19),respectively. Your agency for purposes <br /> of the Code is Jefferson Parish Department Public Safety Grants and Administration. <br /> The Board concluded and instructed me to inform you that La. R.S. 42:1111C(1)(a)will not <br /> prohibit you from secondary outside employment writing out of state grants for other public or <br /> private entities on applications which you have never participated in your public capacity. <br /> This advisory opinion is based solely on the facts as set forth herein. Changes to the facts as <br /> presented may result in a different application of the provisions of the Code of Governmental <br /> Ethics.
