LOUISIANA BOARD OF ETHICS <br /> CONSENT OPINION <br /> RE: IN THE MATTER OF BD NO: 2022-695 <br /> DEANNA MCGEE CARTER <br /> The Board of Ethics (the "BOE"), pursuant to the authority contained in the Louisiana <br /> Code of Governmental Ethics (hereinafter referred to as the "Ethics Code"), La. R.S. 42:1101, et. <br /> seq., and particularly Section 1141 of the Ethics Code, conducted a confidential investigation <br /> concerning information that Deanna McGee Carter violated La. R.S. 42:1113A by opening a <br /> PayPal account and accepting payments from the town citizens on behalf of the Village of North <br /> Hodge while she served as the Town Clerk for the Village of North Hodge. <br /> On the basis of information obtained during the investigation, the BOE enters into this <br /> Consent Opinion with Deanna McGee Carter as follows: <br /> I. <br /> PARTIES: <br /> The Parties hereto are: <br /> Deanna McGee Carter, a person of the full age of majority, domiciled in the <br /> Parish of Jackson with a last known address of 1268 Firewood Road, Jonesboro, <br /> Louisiana 71251. <br /> The Louisiana Board of Ethics, an agency of the State of Louisiana, whose <br /> mailing address is P.O.
