RE:
Request that the Board waive the $360 campaign finance late fee assessed against Buddy Boe, a candidate for Councilman, St. John the Baptist Parish, District 7, in the October 24, 2015 election, whose 2015 supplemental campaign finance disclosure report was filed 9 days late.
Facts:
In connection with his request that the Board waive the late fee assessed for the late filing of the report, Buddy Boe apologizes for the lateness of his report. He says that he was out of state for Council-related matters in Washington, DC and Florida from February 18th until February 23rd. Once he landed in New Orleans, his community was struck by a tornado and he was unable to mail the report until the 25th.
