RE:
Waiver request submitted by Gene Willie Barber, former Constable / District C / Grant Parish, regarding a $1500 late fee assessed for filing his 2018 Tier 3 annual PFD 135 days late.
Facts:
Suzanne Mucha is requesting a waiver on behalf of her father, Gene Barber. Mrs. Mucha stated that her father has failed to file his Annual disclosure due to his illness. Mr. Barber was diagnosed with Parkinsons Disease and then broke each hip separately, 6 months apart. Mrs. Mucha stated that "to say that they've been struggling the past 2 years would be an understatement." Mrs. Mucha would appreciate leniency on this matter and asks the Ethics Board waive the late fee assessment for her father.
