Timothy Guidry is a Shift Captain for the St. Landry Fire Protection District No. 1 in Krotz Springs. An entry level position is vacant and Mr. Guidry's son was considering applying for the position. The Fire Chief will retire at the end of December 2021 and Mr. Guidry will likely be appointed to the Fire Chief position.
Timothy Guidry has asked that the Board allow him to withdraw his request for an opinion since the facts have changed which he believes would prevent his son from working in his agency.
