Request that the Board waive the $2,500 campaign finance late fee assessed against Jeff Cashe, a candidate for District Judge, 21st Judicial District Court, Division J, Livingston, St. Helena and Tangipahoa Parishes, in the November 3, 2020 election, whose 90-P campaign finance disclosure report was filed 125 days late. |
|
Jeffrey Cashe requests a waiver and states the following:
The filing was overlooked by his campaign and he did not receive notice of any delinquent filings until 12/7/2020. He filed the report on 12/9/2020. He does not dispute that it was untimely filed, however this is his campaign's first missed or delinquent filing. He was unaware of any filings due for unopposed candidates. Also, several members of his campaign, family and staff were under quarantine at different times.
