William Vanderbrook, PAC Treasurer requests a waiver and states the following:
They supported a candidate in the primary election; however, they did not support this candidate in the general election. The only form of support was a contribution check for $500 written on 4/30/2020. Since the PAC did not participate in the General Election, it was not required to file a 40-G and is not subject to a late filing penalty. The Annual report was filed timely and covered the appropriate period 11/16-12/31/2020.

18:1505.4.A(1) Any candidate, the treasurer or chairman of a political committee, or any other person required to file any reports under this Chapter, who knowingly fails to file or who knowingly fails to timely file any such reports as are required by this Chapter may be assessed a civil penalty for each day until such report is filed.
18:1491.6B(6) Each committee shall file a report no later than the fortieth day after the general election which shall be complete through the thirtieth day after the general election. This report shall be the final report for the election for any committee which participated in the general election, unless supplemental reports are required as provided in Subsection D of this Section.
