Cynthia Green Perry requests a waiver and state the following:
She began her campaign for election after what seemed like an immeasurable amount of fatigue from natural disasters and other unfortunate events surrounding this pandemic. Her small campaign members including herself have been through a lot. They had little time to properly prepare, under such upheaval and sickness throughout, for most of their reports. Unfortunately, their small team was overwhelmed by all of this along with managing new community outreach guidelines due to mask mandates, etc. This also attributed to missing residential information and other updates, such as receipts and invoices received. They simply didn't have enough time due to the many stressors of the pandemic as well as not securing advanced members who have been through the reporting process.

18:1505.4.A(1) Any candidate, the treasurer or chairman of a political committee, or any other person required to file any reports under this Chapter, who knowingly fails to file or who knowingly fails to timely file any such reports as are required by this Chapter may be assessed a civil penalty for each day until such report is filed. 18:1484.(2)(b). Each candidate for any other public office shall file reports of contributions in excess of two hundred dollars in the aggregate during the aggregating period.
