B. Ronnell Nolan, director for HAFA PAC Corporation requests a waiver and states the following:
Nov 2019: He received a letter dated December 12, 2019 stating the November 2019 Report was not received. On December 20, 2019, he called the Ethics office and explained their report was filed on December 2 and has a fax journal showing the report was submitted timely.
Feb 2020: This timeline was the beginning of COVID and everyone was in a panic. As they were trying to figure out how or if the operations would continue, the report was faxed (2) days late. The PAC is super small and their operation is a boutique. While $400 might not be a lot of money to some huge PAC's, it is a lot of money for them.
Jul 2020: The report was completed on August 4, 2020. He also sees, it was not faxed until August 12, 2020. At this time, they had a part-time employee responsible for faxing this information. As he looked back on his records, she was out with COVID. He thought the report was faxed and for a reason out of his control, it was not faxed in a timely basis. We are a small operation and $400 would be a huge hit to our total funds of approximately $2500. He is asking for the Board's consideration in waiving the late fee. Your help would be greatly appreciated

Each candidate for any other public office shall file reports of contributions in excess of two hundred dollars in the aggregate during the aggregating period.
