RE:
Request for Approval of a Disqualification Plan by Mark Voisin, Divisional Director of Ancillary Services, for LSU Lallie Kemp Regional Medical Center, regarding the employment of Greg and Marissa Triolo.
Facts:
In a prior advisory opinion in Docket No. 2019-565, the Board concluded that Greg Triolo would not be prohibited from being promoted to the position of Radiology Manager at Lallie Kemp while his wife, Marissa Triolo, was employed as a Radiologic Technologist 3 in the Radiology Department. Greg Triolo has now been promoted to the position of Radiology Department Manager, and is now a supervisor over Marissa Triolo's position.

DISQUALIFICATION PLAN
Mark Voisin has proposed that Greg Triolo will be disqualified from participating in any employment decisions concerning his wife, Marissa Triolo. Mr. Voisin, as Divisional Director of Ancillary Services, has been designated to handle all employment decisions regarding Marissa Triolo.
Law:
La. R.S. 42:1112B(1) provides that no public servant shall participate in a transaction involving the governmental entity in which, to his actual knowledge, his immediate family member has a substantial economic interest.

La. R.S. 42:1112C allows a disqualification plan to be developed in accordance with rules adopted by the Board to remove a public servant from participating in transactions that would otherwise present violations of Section 1112 of the Code.
Recommendations:
Approve the proposed disqualification plan.
