The Board in the past has reviewed legislation proposed that will affect the laws administered or the process of the Board of Ethics, including the Code of Governmental Ethics, the Campaign Finance Disclosure Act, and the Legislative, Executive and Local Lobbying Disclosure Acts.
Attached is the letter that was submitted on behalf of the Board of Ethics to the Legislature and the Governor regarding suggestions for legislation.
At this time, bills are being drafted on behalf of legislators and only one bill regarding ethics has been filed. Staff will provide an updated chart at the Board meeting if additional bills are added by that time.
