RE:
Request that the Board waive the $3,000 and $1,400 campaign finance late fees (for a total of $4,400) assessed against Ward 3 PAC, a political action committee, and its committee's chairperson, Michael Fruge, in the November 13, 2021 election, whose 30-P and 10-P campaign finance disclosure reports were filed 54 and 7 days late, respectively.
Facts:
Alesia M. Ardoin, on behalf of Ward 3 PAC, requests a waiver and states the following: Ward 3 PAC historically contributes to members of the Legislature.

30-P: A single contribution to a former legislator who sought election to the Orleans City Council triggered the PAC's participation in the Fall election, thus the PAC was not aware of its requirement to file the 30-P report.

10-P: The 10-P report does not have any activity. We respectfully request that you waive or reduce the late fee based on the level of activity disclosed and the PAC's history of compliance pursuant to the Board's waiver request guidelines.
