RE:
Request that the Board waive a $480 campaign finance late fee assessed against Robert Owsley, a successful candidate for City Court Judge, City of Natchitoches (Pop. 18,323), Nachitoches Parish, in the November 3, 2020 election, whose 10-G campaign finance disclosure report was filed 8 days late.
Facts:
Lee Waskom, Treasurer for Robert Owsley request a waiver and states the following:

In his campaign for Natchitoches City Court Judge, Mr. Wakson has filed all other campaign reports timely. Unfortunately, his entire family was diagnosed with COVID) on November 18, 2020. This included his wife, child and grandchildren as well as himself. He was told to quarantine for 14 days, which they did. During this time, he was unable to access his office for fear of spreading this virus. As soon as he was able to enter his office again, he filed the required report. This was an extraordinary circumstance for him, as well as many others in the country. He was fortunate that his family came through this ordeal with their health intact. Considering these circumstances, he is asking the Board to waive the late fee.
