Request that the Board waive two (2) $3,000, totaling $6,000 campaign finance late fees assessed against Progressive Pelican PAC, a political action committee, and its chairperson Greg Morrison, in the November 3, 2020 election, whose 10-G and 40-G campaign finance disclosure reports were filed 108 and 39 days late, respectively. |

Amanda M. Cranford, report preparer, requests a waiver and states the following in connection with the 10-G Report:
Their records show that the report was completed on November 25, 2020 and was filed by uploading to the Board of Ethics website. They have provided a copy of the first page of that report signed and dated November 25, 2020 as well as a copy of the documents property information showing when it was created. We also have an e-mail confirmation showing receipt of an uploaded document on November 25, 2020.
Amanda M. Cranford, report preparer, requests a waiver and states the following in connection with the 40-G:
She believes this late filing stems from a misunderstanding between herself and the committee's chairman and was corrected and the report was filed.

18:1505.4.A(1) Any candidate, the treasurer or chairman of a political committee, or any other person required to file any reports under this Chapter, who knowingly fails to file or who knowingly fails to timely file any such reports as are required by this Chapter may be assessed a civil penalty for each day until such report is filed.

With respect to 10-G, suspend all but $300 based on future compliance and payment within 20 days of receipt of the waiver result letter.
With respect to 40-G, decline to waive.
