Frank Perez requests a waiver and states the following:
His campaign treasurer was unable to file his report electronically on time because she failed to properly use the LEADERS platform. She entered all the information on the due date (October 14) and when she was unable to upload it, she drove it to this office from New Orleans the next day (October 15). He has a photo of the document indicating received and dated October 15 from this office. He then told his Treasurer that the report had to be uploaded, which she did and received an email confirming receipt on October 18th. A few days later he noticed the report was not on the website so he called the office and was told to re-enter all the information and file again, which he did on the 22nd. He understands these errors are entirely his campaign's fault, but is hoping the Board recognizes that these errors were honest and in no way reflect a disregard of the law.

18:1505.4.A(1) Any candidate, the treasurer or chairman of a political committee, or any other person required to file any reports under this Chapter, who knowingly fails to file or who knowingly fails to timely file any such reports as are required by this Chapter may be assessed a civil penalty for each day until such report is filed.
