Request that the Board waive a $480 campaign finance late fee assessed against Michael "Mike" Solet, unsuccessful candidate for Sheriff for Terrebonne Parish, in the October 12, 2019 election, whose 2021 Supplemental campaign finance disclosure report was filed 8 days late. |
|
Michael "Mike" Solet requests a waiver and states the following:
His home sustained significant damage. He got caught up with dealing with the insurance company and contractors to get his home back to normal and the late filing was an oversight on his part. He wishes the board would take into consideration what people that were affected by the hurricane have gone through.
