Request that the Board waive a $720 campaign finance late fee assessed against Bianca J. Vedell, a successful candidate for Member of School Board, District 5, St. Landry Parish, in the March 26, 2022 election, whose 30-P campaign finance disclosure report was filed 18 days late. |
|
Bianca J. Vedell requests a waiver and states the following:
Initially there was a letter sent to her but she did not receive it. She goes on to recount phone calls with staff in regards to her PFD issues. She strives to make sure her paperwork is in order and deadlines are met. She doesn't hesitate to ask questions when in doubt and she doesn't make excuses when in error. She made a genuine mistake from the beginning and misunderstood the process.
